Greenham Tent
Our Greenham Tent is a simple, portable installation that we can bring to your venue to accompany a talk, a workshop, or as a standalone item.
It is made from representations of archival material, both visual and written, which we have collated during the project. It was designed by Rachael Miles, a senior lecturer at The University of The West of England.
Visitors are welcome to crawl inside the tent. They will then be played a soundscape by composer Sarah Llewellyn, combining snippets of the numerous oral testimonies we have recorded – memories, stories, poems and songs from the Greenham Women – with original music by Sarah.
Sneak peek – you can listen to this here – carve out 20 mins, make yourself a cuppa and enjoy.
