The tent is made from archival material, both visual and written, which we have collated during the project. It was designed by Rachael Miles, a senior lecturer at The University of The West of England.
Visitors to the tent were played a soundscape by composer Sarah Llewellyn. This piece combines a cross-section of the oral testimonies, fascinating memories, stories, poems and songs from the Greenham Women with original music by Sarah. You can listen to this here – carve out 20 mins, make your self a cuppa and enjoy.
We hope to run more of these events as we continue in our efforts to spread the word about Greenham. You can keep up to date with any events we run by checking the website regularly, or by signing up to our newsletter. You can also follow us on social media @GreenhamWomen.
If you’d like to book a talk, or tent visit, please do get in touch.
