ROUGH PROGRAMME FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY:
On Friday 9th August we will set up Camp at the usual A340 Gate from around 5 pm. Around dusk we’ll commemorate the 79th anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki with candles at the Gate.
On Saturday 10th we’ll do a banner action, starting with a walk from the Camp around 1.00 pm and arriving at AWE Aldermaston’s Main Gate by 2.00 pm. For those who don’t want to walk, join us at the Main Gate with your banners and visuals.
The rest of Saturday afternoon and evening will be the Togetherness Party celebrating 40 years of Aldermaston’s Camp and whatever anyone wants to do.
No need to bring food as Missy, Myfanwy and their food truck will provide delicious vegan goodies (including some gluten free) from Friday evening to Sunday morning.
Aldermaston Women’s Peace Camp runs on the 2nd weekend of every month. Find out more on their Facebook page.
