Karen first came to Greenham for the Embrace the Base action with friends in her 20s, and remained there for the most part of 18 months. Fisch gives her perspective of the camp as a young lesbian from the Rebel Dyke group, and the impact of being around a lot of other lesbians for the first time. She speaks about a sense of belonging that she had not found elsewhere, and how she believes Greenham saved her life.
Karen was interviewed by Alice Robinson in 2019.
