Fionn is an activist and musician who played with the Fallout Marching Band. The band boosted spirits and contributed to many actions at Greenham; Fionn fondly remembers playing on her flute in the woods during the new year’s action as the women climbed the aluminium ladders over the fence, ‘a little flute playing against these 96 missiles’. As sister peace camps spread across the globe, Fionn traveled to the US to help start up the women’s peace camp outside the nuclear weapons factory in Seattle. She talks about the differences between American and British police that she encountered, and opens up about the struggles of maintaining mental health at Greenham. In the last few years Fionn’s activism has been focused on saving Sheffield’s trees.

Fionn was interviewed by Vanessa Pini in January 2022.
