Karen was one of the founding members of Cruise Watch, and saw through its entirety from its formation in 1984 until the missiles were removed in 1991. During these years she was fully committed to both Greenham and Cruise Watch, taking calls at all hours of the night and jumping in the car to catch the convoy. She speaks about the creative actions Cruise Watch took to bring awareness to the convoy, and the women-led nature of its organising.
