Rona is a singer who performed some of her political songs on stage at Greenham in 1987 in response to the insanity of the government spending money on nuclear weapons instead of feeding people. She speaks of feeling very unwell while she was there which prevented her returning. Rona has since gone on to support CND, Centre for Welfare Reform , ROSA , Zero Hours Justice and local mutual aid groups helping people through COVID. As a performer with a disability, her focus with these organisations is often about tackling disability discrimination.
Rona was interviewed by Vanessa Pini in February 2021.
